SMOKING POLICY

Lawrence strives to maintain a clean-air workplace for the comfort of all persons. The smoking policy is as follows: All university owned, leased or operated buildings are designated smoke-free. In addition, a smoke-free zone of 25 feet around the perimeter of buildings will be maintained. All university vehicles will be smoke-free as well. Please note that the academic buildings fall within this area as does Hurvis Crossing and the area in front of Warch Campus Center.

It is important that we all make a commitment to respect the smoking policy. The primary reason for the ban is the health of all who use the campus. Please refrain from smoking wherever there is a smoking ban and encourage others to do so as well.
